Puppetry
Being a student at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, means you have to go through Puppetry term. During the first year, all the BA1, gather and usually create a show using puppets. Due to the current situation of the world's pandemic, all students have been sent home and the long awaited puppetry term has now been changed to a "Puppetry at home".
Over ten weeks, we have to create and produce a highly visualized digital sketchbook to evidence our development of design ideas for puppetry based on out animal groups. The digital sketchbook/Blog must show a range of approaches to communicate ideas, annotate every stage of the process, and document any 3D modeling. Using maquettes, the puppets will explore scale, materials, aestetics and mechanics. There is no limit.
